Your First Visit to ChiroFit Miami
We remove the guesswork. Here's exactly what will happen during your first appointment.
We understand that visiting a chiropractor for the first time can feel uncertain. Our goal is to make your initial appointment as comfortable, informative, and productive as possible. Here's a step-by-step look at what you can expect.
Step 1: Check-In & Health History
When you arrive, our friendly staff will greet you and help you complete a new patient health history form. This covers your current symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, and wellness goals. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete this paperwork.
What to bring:
- Photo ID and insurance card
- List of current medications and dosages
- Any relevant X-rays, MRIs, or prior medical records
- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
Step 2: Consultation with Dr. Zeaiter
Dr. Zeaiter will meet with you one-on-one to discuss your chief complaint, health history, and goals. She will ask questions about when your pain started, what makes it better or worse, and how it affects your daily life. This consultation sets the foundation for your personalized care plan.
Step 3: Comprehensive Examination
A thorough physical examination will be performed, which may include:
- Postural analysis and spinal alignment assessment
- Range of motion testing
- Neurological and orthopedic evaluations
- Muscle strength and flexibility testing
Step 4: Review of Findings & Care Plan
Dr. Zeaiter will review the results of your exam and explain her findings in plain language. She will recommend a personalized treatment plan — including the type of care, frequency of visits, and expected timeline — and answer all your questions before any treatment begins.
Step 5: Your First Adjustment (If Appropriate)
Depending on your exam findings, Dr. Zeaiter may perform your first chiropractic adjustment at this visit. She uses gentle, precise techniques and will explain each step as she goes. Most patients leave feeling immediate relief and surprisingly relaxed.
How Long Will It Take?
Your first visit is typically 45 to 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are generally shorter as they focus on your ongoing treatment rather than the initial evaluation.
